Identify the evidence gap first
Review every existing warehouse image before asking for another one. Write down the unresolved question: wrong colour, uncertain damage, hidden stitching, unreadable label, unclear alignment or missing measurement. If you cannot state the decision the image will support, the request is probably too vague.
Ask for decision-critical evidence first
Not every uncertainty deserves the same effort. Start with facts that can stop the order, then move to fit and visible construction. Cosmetic curiosity comes last. This order reduces repeated requests and prevents a sharp logo close-up from distracting from a wrong size or damaged item.
| Priority | Examples | Decision |
|---|---|---|
| Stop-order facts | Wrong item, colour, size, quantity or obvious damage | Resolve before any detail review |
| Fit and function | Chest width, internal length, closure, capacity or compatibility | Request when the answer changes usability |
| Visible construction | Alignment, seam, zipper, sole join or hardware | Compare the same area from a useful angle |
| Cosmetic detail | Minor placement, texture or finishing curiosity | Ask only if it changes your acceptance standard |
Area + angle + condition + reference
Combine four elements when they matter. Name the exact area, specify the camera angle, request useful lighting or item position, and include a measurement reference where needed.
Please photograph the back graphic straight-on with the garment laid flat in neutral light, including both side seams in the frame.
Use category-specific wording
| Product | Useful request |
|---|---|
| Hoodie | Photograph the zipper closed from straight above so both front panels, pockets and hem alignment are visible. |
| Down jacket | Show the complete back laid flat, then photograph the area with uneven-looking fill from directly above. |
| Sneakers | Place both shoes together and photograph both heels straight-on at the same distance. |
| Boots | Show both outer sides and the full upper-to-sole join, with the pair standing on a flat surface. |
| Bag | Open the bag and photograph the complete interior, compartments, zipper ends and label in one sharp sequence. |
| Scarf or knit | Lay the item flat and photograph the full dimensions with the tape visible from edge to edge. |
Specify both endpoints and item position
“Please measure the chest” can produce a body circumference, a flat half-width or a tape placed at the wrong height. Ask for the garment laid flat, then name the start and end points. For footwear, distinguish insole length, internal length and outsole length because they are not interchangeable.
- Garment chest: armpit seam to armpit seam, item flat
- Body length: named shoulder or collar point to the hem
- Trousers: waist, rise, thigh, inseam and opening using clear endpoints
- Footwear: identify whether the tape measures insole, interior or outsole
- Bag: internal width, height and depth when fitted contents matter
Do not ask a photo to prove what it cannot show
LoongBuy's published inspection rules focus on visible style, quantity, colour, size and model information. Sealed products may not be opened, and ordinary inspection does not establish authenticity, electronics functionality, material composition, waterproofing, warmth, comfort or long-term durability.
Start with entries carrying a QC signal
These examples have a QC-photo count in the saved catalogue record. The badge shows that more evidence may exist; it does not mean this site inspected or approved the complete photo set.
Use the result to make one clear decision
Continue
The requested angle or measurement resolves the evidence gap.
Clarify once
The image exists but the area, lighting or tape placement still prevents comparison.
Resolve before shipping
The item, option, measurement or visible condition is not acceptable.
Keep the original request beside the returned image. If the response does not show the named area, angle or endpoints, the task is still incomplete even if another photo was added.

QC photo requests FAQ
Can this spreadsheet request extra QC photos for me?+
No. This independent guide does not control warehouse orders. Use the photo or support options available in your current destination account.
Does LoongBuy allow extra QC photo requests?+
LoongBuy's public service information currently says additional photos can be requested without a photo fee. Confirm the current process and any limits in your account before relying on that statement.
What should I write in a QC photo request?+
Name one exact area, angle, lighting condition or measurement and explain how the item should be positioned. A specific request is easier to fulfil and easier to judge.
Can QC photos prove authenticity?+
No. They may show visible construction, labels and condition, but ordinary warehouse inspection does not authenticate an item or prove material composition, performance or durability.
When should I request a measurement photo?+
Request one when fit or capacity changes the decision and the live listing does not provide a reliable comparable measurement. Specify the start point, end point and whether the item should lie flat.
